Aloha Country Songwriters Festival | Jan 15th -18th, 2026 | Waianae, Oahu

The Aloha Country Songwriters Festival is a soulful gathering of country, folk, and island-inspired artists set along the beautiful shores of Oahu’s west side, this event is ins partnership with 2 Walk on Water, proceeds from the festival support water therapy retreats for families of children battling cancer.

Rooted in Hawaii’s paniolo (cowboy) heritage and the belief that Music is Medicine, the festival blends storytelling, healing, and connection through song. With intimate performances, cultural experiences, and powerful songwriting sessions, artists and attendees alike are invited into a space of creativity, reflection, and renewal.

Each session features a hand-picked lineup of award-winning country artists and songwriters, alongside local Hawaiian talent, performing in songwriter rounds, acoustic jams, and main stage showcases. Highlights include a Sunday Gospel Brunch, immersive songwriting-as-therapy workshops, and private retreat collaborations. Festival activities celebrate Hawaii’s culture—from lei-making and ukulele sessions to paniolo storytelling and boat harbor jam sessions with the local community.

In the spirit of aloha and service, festival attendees and artists will also participate in meaningful volunteer outreach, including a special Music is Medicine Songwriters Session at local at-risk school, using the power of music to inspire hope, healing, and self-expression. Additional service opportunities include connecting with the houseless community through music and wellness-focused care projects, bringing the spirit of the festival into the heart of the community.

Beyond the music, attendees and artists can unwind with daily oceanfront yoga, breathwork, pickleball, golf, surf lessons, paddleboarding, and more. In partnership with 2 Walk on Water, the event explores the powerful relationship between music, water, and emotional well-being through unique ocean-based experiences.
