Hope Has a Name: Welcoming the First Forever 'Ohana Retreat Recipient to O'ahu

Some moments in life remind us why we do what we do—and this is one of them.

We are beyond honored to announce the first annual Forever ‘Ohana Retreat in partnership with the Forever Nate Foundation and 2 Walk on Water. This special retreat, set against the healing waters of Oahu, is dedicated to children and families who have faced the unthinkable with courage, faith, and resilience. And this year, we are thrilled to welcome Jessica and her amazing mother as the first recipients.

Jessica's story is nothing short of miraculous. At just eight years old, she was diagnosed with glioblastoma (GBM) —an aggressive brain tumor with a grim prognosis. Doctors gave her a year to live. But Jessica had other plans. She not only survived—she thrived. At 14, she was faced with yet another challenge—a second, different kind of brain tumor. While that one was eventually removed and proved benign, it was followed by a devastating stroke just days after surgery. And as if that wasn’t enough, Jessica was diagnosed with ovarian cancer during her senior year of high school. Still, she pressed on—with grit, grace, and a warrior’s heart.

Today, Jessica continues to face her journey with bravery, recently undergoing another brain scan for a spot that raised concern. Her story is not defined by her battles, but by her unbreakable spirit. She stands tall—not only in stature—but in strength, resilience, and hope. We cannot wait to welcome Jessica and her mom to the shores of Oahu, where the ocean’s embrace, the island’s warmth, and our community’s love will surround them. Through the Forever ‘Ohana Retreat, we aim to offer not just rest, but restoration… not just escape, but empowerment. This retreat is a celebration of life, legacy, and the healing power of water and

connection.

Mahalo to the Forever Nate Foundation for believing in this vision, and to all those who make moments like these possible. Together, we are not only honoring incredible stories—we are writing new ones filled with hope, joy, and aloha.

Perhaps you are still wondering…
“Is this experience for me?”

Our lessons, memberships and programs are perfect for those who want that

one-on-one time with the water while engaging in fun activities –

bringing you the Ultimate Water Therapy Experience.

Sounds amazing, but I still have some questions
That’s great – because we have answers.

What's The Price?

For solo riders the price of a 30-min lesson is $225 and $175 per person for up to 4 rides to enjoy with family and friends.AND, If you really enjoy e-Foiling as much as we do, then we have memberships including 2 or 4 monthly rides as well as our 4-week Water Therapy Experience – with an insightful journal you will enjoy too.

Do I Need To Have Prior Experience?

Almost anyone can ride, regardless of athleticism or balance abilities. And if you need, we also offer additional services like paddle board and surf lessons to make you feel like fish in water.

What's E-Foiling?

An e-foil is an electric powered foil board that requires a simple press of a button on a handheld bluetooth remote to start propelling the board forward. A lithium ion battery powers the propeller that is connected to the bottom of the mast. And it’s even more fun than that.

Is There An Age Restriction?

If you are booking through this website, you must be at least 18. But the fun can be enjoyed if you are at least 13!

Is There A Weight Limit?

Yes, the weight limit is 220 lb.

How Fast Can The E-Foil Board Go?

We use a Waydoo board and our team members have gotten up to speeds of 30 MPH. But before you are ready, you will learn the basics to make this experience safe for you.
